Despite there being an international break two K League 1 matches are slated for this Sunday afternoon. Seongnam FC take on Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and Daegu FC host FC Seoul.

#SFCvJEO: Seongnam FC vs Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors - 16:00 KST

The slightly earlier K League 1 kick off this Sunday sees Seongnam FC host Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. Seongnam are on a run of six league matches without victory, seven in all competitions, and so will be determined to captalise on a faltering Jeonbuk this weekend. Champions Jeonbuk are also in the midst of a sticky patch of form. In fact, the Green Warriors' last win was against Seongnam in Round 10, Han Kyo-won with the game's only goal in the 75th minute.

Last weekend Jeonbuk fought back to salvage a late draw with Takahiro Kunimoto levelling away to Incheon in the dying embers. But the Green Warriors may take solace in knowing that they have had the most touches in the box in the division this term with 324, hope that a chance might fall to their leading marksman Stanislav Iljutcenko. Seongnam may look to their towering centre forward and top scorer Fejsal Mulić as the Magpies have been the most accurate crossers in the division in 2021 with 42.1% of all crosses finding their intended target. Seongnam have defender Lee Chang-yong unavailable through suspension. Jeonbuk were originally due to be without Lee You-hyun, Paik Seung-ho and Song Bum-keun due to their involvement with the Korea U23 side but all of Kim Hak-bum's K League-based players have been allowed to return to their clubs for this weekend's fixtures. Lee Yong is unavailable though and is with Paulo Bento's Korean National Team squad.

#DAEvSEO: Daegu FC vs FC Seoul - 16:30 KST

The K League's most in-form team Daegu FC will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to 10 matches in the league, 11 overall, when the Sky Blues host FC Seoul this Sunday. An incredible run of eight wins and a draw, including a club record six on the trot, has moved Lee Byung-keun's side up to third in the table, just one point behind Suwon Bluewings who have played a game more. Seoul's fortunes are somewhat contrasting, however, having gone nine league games without a win. Seoul's most recent victory was against Suwon Bluewings in Round 6.

High-flying Daegu have the second best expected goals ratio in K League 1 with 29.11. Seoul, meanwhile, have the second worst with 16.38. The Sky Blues have proved to be extremely efficient with the aforementioned xG being generated with the least amount of possession in the division at 42.1%. Seoul, on the other hand, will be hoping to make more of their time on the ball having racked up 51.8% on average, the fourth most in Korea's top tier this term. But have had some joy from the flanks with third most crossed made per 90 minutes in the division. Daegu won the first meeting between the two sides this term, Edgar Silva converting from close range at Sangam. Seoul's last trip to DGB Daegu Bank Park ended in a 6-0 loss with club legend Dejan Damjanović scoring the sixth. The record over the last 10 meetings is dead even, though, with both teams picking up three wins each and four draws. Seoul will be boosted by the availability of full backs Kim Jin-ya and Yoon Jong-gyu as well as forward Cho Young-wook. All of Kim Hak-bum's K League-based players have been allowed to return to their clubs for this weekend's fixtures meaning that the trio could be involved come Sunday.
